Vanadium Nitrogen

Vanadium-nitrogen alloy is a new type of alloy additive that can replace ferro-vanadium for the production of micro-alloyed steel. The addition of vanadium nitride to steel improves the overall mechanical properties of steel such as strength, toughness, ductility and thermal fatigue resistance, and provides good weldability of steel.

APPLICATION

Vanadium-nitrogen can be used in structural steel, tool steel, pipeline steel, reinforcing steel and cast iron. Vanadium-nitrogen are used in high-strength low-alloy steels to effectively carry out micro-alloying of vanadium and nitrogen at the same time, promote the precipitation of carbon, vanadium, and nitrogen compounds in steel, and more effectively play the role of sedimentation strengthening and grain refinement.
